What does ROS stand for?+
ROS means Rules of Survival, the 120-player battle royale. Searching for it also turns up reactive oxygen species in biology and the Robot Operating System in robotics — different things entirely. This is the game.
Is Rules of Survival coming back?+
Yes — as ROS: Origin, a new build by Obsidian Games. It is a revival of the format and the feel, not a re-upload of the 2017 client.
When is the release date?+
No date announced. Pre-registered players get the first-wave playtest invites and hear the launch window before anyone else.
What does pre-registering cost?+
Nothing. Email only. The game is free to play and monetised through cosmetics — no paid power, no gear behind a wall.
Will my old account carry over?+
Old NetEase accounts cannot transfer. If you already have an Obsidian Games account, pre-registration attaches to it so your progress and entitlements stay in one place.
